Friday, Mar 21 2008 - Weigh-In
View XSMOKER's food & exercise for this day
Okay weigh was today. I was 156.6, down 1.4 from last weigh-in. It's a loss, but still a gain from where I was two weeks ago. I was supposed to go to a WW mtg this morning, but my oldest daughter went to a sleep over and there was no way I was dragging three kids with me. I'm going to try to go tomorrow morning. We'll see.
I seem to fall apart in the evenings. Even my husband has commented on how much I'm snacking. He tells me so I won't beat myself up the next day. Even so, I've got to come up with a strategy to deal with the evenings. I think I'm going to buy some cottage cheese for an evening snack. I find in the morning if I have cottage cheese as an early morning snack, I don't feel like I can eat everything in the kitchen for breakfast.
Exercise...I'm going to start adding circuit training to my non-run days. For now, I'm going to use my Workout for Women DVD. In May, I'm going to make an appointment with a personal trainer on base. I need to learn to use the equipment at the gym and get some help planning a workout rountine.
Goals for Today:
1. Log everything
2. Stay w/in net
3. Run

I
:heart2: string cheese. You sound very determined and focused. I definitely think planning in a snack is the secret. If you feel like you CAN have it, then you don't feel like you're cheating and end up going off the deep end...at least that's how it works with me!

I had a PT 2 years ago, that is how I got started lifting weights! It was a great decision for me. I have been eating cottage cheese and celery lately and it makes a good low-cal snack. I also buy the low-cal string cheese (they are 60 cals each). They are good paired with a fruit.
