Yesterday I did my 8 mile run. By the end of the day, my knees were killing me. I was gingerly walking around. I'm considering running on a track but man that is a lot of boring circles to run. I would much rather run out in the neighborhood where there are things to see and distract myself with. I've come to the realization that the half-marathon may have to be my distance. I was hoping to train for a marathon in the fall, but I don't think my knees are going to allow it.

Still training from a half-marathon in June. Saturday is my 8 mile run, unfortunately I've been forced to add a mile every weekend. My getting sick really through my training schedule for a loop. Still keeping at it though.
Another distraction has been sex deprivation. I'm seriously missing the hubby during this deployment. The lack of sex is really starting to bug the crap out of me and we aren't even half way through!

So this past week hasn't been that great!
I've only had one run this week and two other exercise days. Not exactly great stats. Plus food hasn't been all that great either. I changed my long run to Monday. Today wasn't going to be possible, tomorrow is my daughter's birthday. So Monday is a 6.5 mile run. Hopefully it will go well.
