I recently had heart surgery to repair a hole that was never healed up when I was a baby. It has certainly slowed down my exercise and normal activity for that matter. I am glad to share that I am now getting better. I am back to exercising daily. Because I am not allowed to run until the end of April, I am focusing on what I eat. I am so freaking proud of the work I have done over the past three weeks. I started working out with Jillian Michaels Slimdown Program and am now almost to my goal weight. The last time I weighed in at this amount was May 30th. That was back when I was living by myself and taking care of the house being sold while DJ was in training school in Texas. And just two weeks before that, I weighed in at just a little above my goal weight. I know I can do this. I can achieve this goal. It feels so good!...Saturday, November 21st 2009

I am so glad that I lost .4 lbs this past week. It is mainly due to Jillian Michaels kicking my butt. She is a professional trainer from the Biggest Loser. ( I started watching that show this season. I keep setting my weight goals and saying I want to be down to 130, but I am not doing what it takes to get there. I am not that far away. That is when things get more challenging. The body does not want to give up those last few pounds.
