A great way to warm you up on a cold morning.
3/4 cup rolled oats
2 cup lowfat milk
1/2 cup chopped apples (or low sugar canned pie apple)
1/2 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp superfine sugar (or brown sugar)
Combine the oats, milk and apples in a saucepan and stirring, bring to a boil. Allow to simmer for 5 minutes stirring occasionally, before removing from the heat.
Spoon into serving bowls and sprinkle with combined cinnamon and sugar. Serve with extra milk if desired.
