For a Halloween or a party treat, delight your friends or children with this fun snack!

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cup animal cracker cookies

1/2 (6 oz.) package cheddar or original flavor goldfish crackers (about 1-1/2 cups)

1 cup dried tart cherries

1 cup dry roasted peanuts


Directions:

Put animal crackers, goldfish crackers, dried cherries, and peanuts in a large mixing bowl. Carefully stir with a spoon.

Store in a tightly covered container at room temperature.

Variations:

Honey-roasted peanuts or other nuts can be used in place of the dry roasted peanuts. For special occasions, some candy-coated chocolate pieces can also be added to the mix.
