




A quick and easy pasta meal.
1 1/2 Tbsp flour
1 1/2 cup plain soy milk, enriched
1 vegetable stock cube, crumbled
12 oz asparagus cuts, canned, drained
4 cup cooked penne pasta (or small shaped pasta)
Place flour in a medium saucepan. Gradually add soy milk, stirring until smooth. Add stock cube.
Bring mixture to the boil over medium heat, then simmer until mixture thickens.
Fold through asparagus.
Heat through and serve sauce over cooked penne pasta.
Place flour and soy milk in microwaveable bowl, cook on HIGH [100%] for 4 to 5 minutes, stirring after every minute so that it is smooth and has thickened.
Fold through asparagus.
Heat through and serve sauce over cooked penne pasta.
If using unenriched soy milk, recipe's calcium content is 37 mg.
