Foods today were better, but meal frequency was off. The flu is finally going away in earnest... Strange that my appetite hasn't returned.

Antibiotics are playing havoc with my innards right now. I am one of those people blessed with lactose tolerance - so I can eat buckets of cottage cheese. Unfortunately, since the round of zithromax, I've really had a hard time with my favorite non-meat protein. Ah well, it will come back in time. Maybe I should check out a probiotic?

After dinner, I really wasn't very hungry, but knew that I was several hundred calories off my mark. I was feeling a bit lazy - didn't want to chow through 600 calories of fruits and veggies, so I polished off the cinnamon roll that was in the fridge. I think the calorie estimate that I put in the journal was an overestimate... This roll wasn't nearly as gooey or sweet as a cinnabon, but its close enough.

Thinking back, I really should have had a protein shake... At least that would have had a balance of nutrients.

I'm starting to sound a bit like a broken record, but I'm not concerned about this bit of junk in my diet right now, because I am eating a lot of clean food, my ratios are good and my calories are on target. I'm also not too concerned because I'm not "craving" the junk food that I'm eating... If I couldn't stop myself, then I'd be worried.
