Sunday, Nov 12 2006 - I wear my stunna glasses at night
View DBRAZIEL's food & exercise for this day
As usual, nothing to write about really. I'm listening to this song I wear my stunna glasses at night that makes me want to go out and drink. This weekend, I was proud of myself: I didn't drink! It seems like when you're in college, youre supposed to drink every weekend. I'm not going to lie, the urge to drink hasn't really been there. Let me tell you though, i am PETRIFIED to go back to VA next month. I am very excited, but I am also SUPER nervous about staying on track. I've already figured I'll be a little more lax, but I don't want to COMPLETELY fall off the wagon. I'm also not going to have a gym so I'm going to be forced to do my calisthenics exercise routine OR my tae bo DVD (that i need to buy - thanks for the reminder). It's just that my best friend is a FOOD PUSHER to the MAX and that's all we used to do: EAT! I would love to bring my new habits to VA but I guess what it really boils down to is I don't believe in myself or trust myself to stick with it. It's easy when I'm in the environment I'm in now, but it's TOTALLY different to do it somewhere else. So even when I go home for thanksgiving and Christmas, I need to make sure that I am MENTALLY ready to face the challenges of not being in my comfort zone. I guess I need to just take these challenging days one day at a time and to LOG EVERYTHING!

I just read this lesson on CKU about Self-sabotage that was like WOOOOOWWW! I'm afraid of failure AND succeeding! Craziness. Anywho, I'm watching the Depaul vs Oklahoma women's basketball team and I am realizing how much I miss basketball! This winter, I am going to play intramurals (if I have time, considering I have two jobs AND class) to try to get back in basketball shape AND me and my workout buddy play at the gym every once in a while. One of my goals is to try out for our school's basketball team my senior year. I miss playing for my school (I played my freshman and sophmore year) and i just really miss the game period! I'm SO glad basketball season is here now so i have MORE to inspire me to KEEP GOING! OK, I swear, this is the last I am going to write today (i think i'm addicted to blogging)
