I need to work on logging everything and need to do it at the time I consume it. I tried to remember everything I consumed today so far and now I'm already over my target and I know I've missed a few things.

Surprising, though, I'm not frustrated with myself yet. I know this is a work in progress of my new lifestyle and I would rather be honest about everything going in and all the exercise I'm not doing. This log will help me be honest with myself and that's the biggest change of all.

I feel good about myself and I know I'm definitely eating a lot less than I was a year ago. I will do this one step at a time and make small changes each week. Small changes lead to big changes.

Keep moving forward is the only direction I want to go.

I was going to suggest the same thing as Carol. Or if you happen to have a smart phone, using the little memo tool or something similar works, too.

If I'm not by my computer, I sometimes carry a small note in my pocket about the foods I've eaten since I've logged. Then, when I have time, I go back and log Not the greatest, but better than not logging it at all - sometimes, just having to write it down is deterrent enough.
