One week down and I've been real good. I will have to stay off the bike till March because of my hip but seem to be able to do the eliptical and lift. Determined to drop at least 20 by then. Maybe lower weight will put less stress on the hip when riding. First week calories were low and I was not hungry but I didn't drop any wight. I'm thinking I've gained muscle from lifting for the last two weeks or so. I do feel better except for the hip. The contest at the Y begins Wednesay. Hopefully that will keep me on track.
