So I finally weighed in and I was disappointed but not discouraged. I'm only down one pound from last week and a lousy 0.6 pounds away from the 20 pound mark. 20 pounds. 20% of the weight I need to lose. Close but no cigar. Still it gave me enough incentive to say no to the donuts they were passing around the office this morning - even after I got a whiff. They did smell good, but I don't want or need any fried dough topped with sugar.

A few years ago I bought a T-shirt that I just loved. It arrived in the mail and was too small. The company didn't have it in a bigger size so I kept it. I would lose weight and be able to wear it - someday. Then I gained more weight and the T-Shirt went into a sealed bag with some other too small items. I unpacked it a week and a half ago. So I weighed in this morning and I'm down to 220.4. Hubs was unhappy about the .4 still hanging on, but I told him those are just stubborn ounces that will be gone before next weigh-in. I feel like I have cheerleaders everywhere. The hubs at home is a great help. He's started bringing my walking shoes when he picks me up from work so we can walk together before going home. My boss at work has been cheering me on and keeping tabs on my progress. A couple of others have noticed the difference in...
