I was recently watching a recorded episode of the good doctor so I'm not exactly sure when it aired, but he was talking about the best time to do things. For instance, the best time to get up in the morning is 6:30, drink a glass of warm water and use the toilet at 6:35, then weigh yourself afterwards (I forget what time specifically, but it's after one urinates and has a bowel movement.) Feeling good

So I weighed in this morning and I'm down to 220.4. Hubs was unhappy about the .4 still hanging on, but I told him those are just stubborn ounces that will be gone before next weigh-in. I feel like I have cheerleaders everywhere. The hubs at home is a great help. He's started bringing my walking shoes when he picks me up from work so we can walk together before going home. My boss at work has been cheering me on and keeping tabs on my progress. A couple of others have noticed the difference in...

Another Party put me in the RED

Okay, it wasn't the party, it was everything I put in my mouth. My youngest granddaughter turns 1 this week. Her parents held her party Saturday afternoon and of course I had to attend. I brought a fantastic salad that was fairly popular. Though not as popular as the pizza or the cupcakes. The children gathered around a veggie tray with Ranch which was okay. I was reading in another thread yesterday where someone had posted negative comments about obese people. I don't know why I read that drivel, but I am strangely drawn to it. I always hope to find some glimmer of compassion, but seldom find it. It’s been a couple of months since I started this lose weight – get healthy campaign. I find things are changing inside of me as I progress on this journey.
