Today was a not-so-typical day... until I got moving and walked on my treadmill. It took quite a bit to get motivated. I think it was because I hadn't walked yesterday as planned. I can say that I am glad that I did get motivated and took my 45-minute walk.

So I have finally made up my mind to lose weight. This time it's not to just fit into some old pair of jeans or to get ready for swim suit season. This time it's to do what's best for my health and well-being. I think that the biggest obstacle in my way is the notion of taking my time to lose the weight. I have been constantly telling myself that I did not put on all this weight overnight and it coming off will take some time.
