Wow, real Sprite ! Today, all I can consume is liquids and some jello up until 2pm, then just water...after 6pm I have to drink this yucky stuff... Right now I get to drink the real stuff... real sugar Sprite in order to keep up my blood sugar. It's been years since I have had a real sugar drink. I guess it's the only fun part of this whole day. I am keeping track of how many jellos and sprites I drink on my log, and waters. This stuff can really add up in the calories! I have had to turn down ...taking a shower

I'll be taking a shower tonight, a hot shower that is. Our water heater got fixed this afternoon and I for one do appreciate hot running water. We managed to survived the ordeal. Now to get the good computer screen fixed and I'll be happy. I have been spoiled working on the new screen, this old one is not as clear and bright and hurts my eyes.It has come to my attention that all of the habits I think I had broken are some still lurking in the back of my brain just oozing to come back and ma...

I got back from Austin late Saturday night tired and happy as my visit with my brother went well. We all were glad to get home especially the dog who hates car rides. Xena whined the entire time we were in the car
and no comforting would make her feel any better about the car ride. That dog simply does not like car rides and goes into a panic mode when you put her into a car. I think next time I might ask the vet if I could sedate her if they still do those things. although I am personally not...

ugh, my water heater won't be fixed till Monday due to the fact we didn't have enough decking around it for the workmen to work around it. No one told us we had to have full decking around it for the workmen to work on it or we would have filled in some of the gaps that were around the unit. My husband had filled in he attic when we first moved in since it was not floored when we moved in. He left a few gaps apparently.
Before we leave to go out of town, he will fill in those gaps so the men ...

I got up yesterday and noticed my hot water was very hot, actually too hot. When hubby got home I asked him to go check the hot water heater but he said he was too tired. BIG MISTAKE !!! The next morning we woke up to water spewing from the HWheater in the attic, and it was coming out it's safety drain like it was suppose to. We thought we were going to be spared. Hubby didn't see anything in the attic to make him think there would be a problem while we got the heater replaced. I latter came in...
