taking more time

Thursday, May 7th 2009

When I first started dieting I was taking two or three hours out of my day to plan and figure our how to put myself through my daily diet routine each day. This included planning my meals, logging them, figuring out the calories count of any dish that did not already have a nutritional count, blogging, figuring out my exercise cals, and counting my carbs since I was still on insulin. caught myself struggling

Tuesday, May 5th 2009

I caught myself struggling with food lately because I have had this innate desire to want to eat without consequences. This won't work of course and hasn't as the scale has shown. She kept going even having to make visits into the medical tents through out the race. Now that is endurance and what the Bible calls finishing the good race. How this is such a good illustration as to the courage and determination it takes not only to face life, but to stay with an exercise routine, but a diet. Terri, you inspired me today ...
