View NIKKI8's food & exercise for this day
I haven't been keeping up with my blog-I got off track when I went out of town. But now that I've been inspired by Ashli's blog

my goal is to keep up with it each evening. I'm organizing my life into routines to help me become more efficient (otherwise, I feel like I get nothing done). I'm giving myself 20 minutes as part of my evening routine to do computer tasks, inclucing updating my food log, writing in my blog and catching up on email. I put those things off sometimes because I'm afraid it's going to take too long and I have to get to my school work after the kids go to bed. But if I put a time limit on it, I will feel like it's more doable.
I did quite a workout for being at home today. That Jillian Michaels Cardio kickboxing is a killer workout and it's only 20 minutes! My crazy dvd player wouldn't play it at first, so I did Leslie Sansone's WATP first-2 mile walk in 30 minutes. Then I popped in the kickboxing video and it worked. I was dying by the end of it, but I just love to see those calorie numbers go down on my food log. It just makes my whole day. Plus I love the way I feel when I exercise.
Did pretty good with the food today. I only had one trouble area. When I was in class tonight, I started having some mild rib pain. I felt some mild anxiety worrying that I'm going to start having full blown attacks again. I've been having that mild pain all week and it's really scaring me. So on our break, I got a bag of Skittles. I think it was to relieve my anxiety. I have the leeway with my calories so that it didn't put me over. I just want to avoid eating out of stress and emotions.
One of my new goals has been to increase my protein to 100 grams per day. I finally hit it today! I plan to continue that goal and also to increase my fiber intake (another inspiration from Ashli).
Okay, that's all for now.

Woohoo for you, girl! I wish I had your motivation to exercise. I pop in a video and it's all I can do to go for 20 minutes! Your goals are great, and you certainly have everything it takes to succeed. Just keep putting one foot in front of the other. And thanks to you for inspiring me to start on this journey
:) I'll answer your PM questions shortly in an e-mail.
