View OLDARMYMED's food & exercise for this day
I am about to embark on my first multi-day trip since starting in July. A week in Baltimore's inner harbor area for a convention. This will be my litmus test for luxury hotel food. My past experience is that the kitchen will do whatever you want as long as it is reasonable so a grilled naked chicken breast and some steamed veggies should be manageable. It is more an issue of overcoming temptation than of actually eating healthy foods. I should have internet access so keeping up with posting and tracking should be relatively easy. I designed it so that my hotel is about a half mile from the convention center so I will at least get in a bit of walking along with the walking around the convention center between seminar sessions.
My weekly goal remains at 2 pounds. Can I do this? OF COURSE I CAN!!!

You will do great - you have been solid in your plan so a little convention should not pull you off plan. But don't forget to also enjoy the conference!

I was there a few years ago, we stayed at the Sheridan and the food was horrible. We ended up eating at PF Chang's (how I found out about them) and there is a German pub (I don't remember the name) a few blocks away but it also serves breakfast and their food is fantastic. I don't recall if we had them specialize anything and on far end of the harbor their is a seafood restaurant that was featured on food networks Diners, Drive-ins and Dives I wanted to try but my husband didn't. We didn't go into Little Italy but there is a great salad place in the inner harbor too.
Good luck and enjoy!
