So the comments are coming in a floodstorm now. I can't avoid them probably because people feel like they can't avoid making them.
I suppose 50 lbs is a lot of weight - who am I kidding... that's a TONNE of weight. And actually, I'm about 75 lbs since my highest weight. Thinking about it that way... that's a lot of weight. I've updated my before and after pictures on my profile with pics at my highest and current weight. I can't believe how chubby I was before!! I didn't have much of a neck, definitely no collar bones and I had these big chunky cheeks! Crazy!
I remember when I started on calorie king thinking "man, this is going to take forever" and saying to myself... "if I can just make it down to 200 I'll be happy" or "if I can just make it down to 175..."
But now that I'm in the groove of it and over half the way there - I refuse to stop before I'm "done". 150 is comfortably nestled within the healthy BMI range for my height... is low enough to be a challenge but high enough not to be too difficult to maintain (I think).
I've gotten just under 185 which now makes me officially smaller than my husband. That's a pretty important weight loss goal for me. Next one is 175... about 10 lbs away and I'll hopefully get there by the end of March.

OMG V... you crack me up! I don't know whether to laugh at the thought of myself wearing sweat pants with "booty" written on the butt or be flattered that someone else's sexy booty butt made you think of me... or some strange mix of both. I'm opting for both! hehe... I tried wii fit recently by the way... how do you like it?

I saw a girl at the grocery store today that made me think of you... she was wearing sexy sweat pants with BOOTY written on the rear. Your new pics look fabulous! Youre doing so great!

Good for you giving your ultimate goal some realistic thought - my first several attempts to lose weight were not sustained because I didn't plan for maintainence the way I need to. And, congrats on your success so far!
