So I was dragging my heels this morning, literally, as I crawled out of bed - one eye still sealed shut with gooey "sleep" I'd accumulated overnight. Rummaging through my dresser drawers I yelled to my husband, who was on his way out the door, to tell me what the weather was like."Looks kind of chilly" - which meant shorts were nixed. Shorts being the only item of clothing I could see out of the one eye that wasn't still glued shut.

As a reference point for myself... here's a picture of me a month after I started CK (keeping in mind I had already lost some weight before CK) and another picture of me a month ago.Of course with the different seasons/weather I am dressed differently and a jacket always adds bulk... but WOW! What a difference!
For anyone thinking it takes FOREVER to lose the weight... it doesn't... it just takes some patience and hard work. There is about 6 months between the 2 pictures.

There is this woman in my office who used to be on the chubbier side and last year, she lost a substantial amount of weight. I remember having a very invigorating conversation with her last fall about it and she had told me about how she'd been using weight watchers and the difficulties she had encountered in her weight loss journey but how worth it she felt her struggles had been.I've been noticing over the past few weeks that she's gained quite a bit of weight.

My manager just plunked a FULL box of 40 timbits (for you americans... donut holes) on the little table RIGHT outside my cubicle. Could she have put them on the table in front of her OWN office, yes.
