I just stopped in for a minutes to say we are really having a rough time and if any of you know of anyone or have ever had to send a child to a "wilderness camp" or someplace to get an attitude adjustment, your thoughts would be appreciated.As we look toward this holiday season and all the blessings we have, we are struggling with a very unstable home situation and need to make some drastic changes.

Hi all, I really felt a need to get some stuff down, so I haven't even checked in on the Challenge yet today. It is almost midnight here in TX and I really need to get to bed.Have been struggling with 16 yr old D this week and it is about to get me down. She hates me! She makes it very clear in every way. We have therapy again tomorrow and I hope it helps. I am the ENFORCER at our house right now. We have never been as CONSISTENT as we should have...I could put a lot of excuses on ...

Posted 8:50 a.m.Ok, I am really convinced now how important this cyber world were we learn together really is...
Last year the 27 lbs I gained between Nov. 1 and Mar 30 was unbearable...well, obviously not enough or I wouldn't have done it in the first place. I had been logging for about 2 months prior to my demise and then I stopped again. I was never on the website, had it on my desktop. I know now the difference this time is the community! Teenage girl...bad choices

Just a quick update on my sweet girl child. 16 years old and making some poor choices, but she really is a good girl, just going to try things for herself.Last night I forgot to turn off her cell phone at 10:00 PM (this was to be her punishment for being on the cell phone for several days after midnight on school nights). When I stood outside her door last night at 11:15 I heard her on the phone. Told her I would be turning it off. She understood.
