My cholesterol is high. Hence joining CK and changing my life. Recently I've been paying attention to the level of cholesterol, protein, carbs, etc. And it seems my cholesterol is still kind of high. So I did some more digging. Come to find out that chicken has a lot of cholesterol. I thought chicken was healthy, especially when baking/broiling/grilling it.
Started a "Biggest Loser" competition at work. So far the pot is only $400. Disappointing, because I feel I have a real chance. Last year it was $800. Oh well, it $400 more than I would have. And the challenge is great.
Alright. Time to cook dinner for the family.

Hi William - Thanks for the CK message. Glad to know you are a "homie"! Good luck with your health goals. I restarted last May with hopes of big changes, but it didn't take long before I realized that in order to meet my goals of changing my lifestyle, I had to do some serious rearranging of my work schedule, and/or how I can better keep work at work and not let it spill over into the home and personal front. I own my own business, so you'd think it would be easy, but as I am an employer of 1, not so much. I have been working the past 8 months or so getting my business in a better position to expand, and hire people, so I don't have to be an employer of 1 and can spread the workload around. If it wasn't for CK I would have kept thinking I could make this work and spinning my tires in the mud. I hope to get this expansion done come May, and then maybe I'll be able to get myself on track to a better healthier me.
