View RPVWILL's food & exercise for this day
So....I'm plateauing. A bit disturbing. I am exercising, eating right (high protein, high fiber, low carb {carbs are: whole grains, fruits, veggies, nuts, beans...), sleeping 6-8 hours a day. The only thing I don't do is lift weights, yet. I'm still recovering from a pulled muscle (I hope, with my back).
Other than that, still taking pleasure in exercising and eating right. I love my new life today. Going on 3 months+.
So any suggestions are definately welcome. Here are my stats:
HW:375
CKHW: 363
CKSW:360
GW: 205

Are you eating the right kinds of foods at the right time of day? I learned that from a nutritionist. ie: Brk is protein, and carbs. Morning snack fruit & yogurt or cottage cheese, Lunch protein and carbs, afternoon snack protein. Dinner protein and veg, evening snack protein. She said to start tapering carbs after lunch. Just eating the same foods, arranged differently throughout the day, can confuse your body again. That's what you need to do... keep your body confused. Throw changes at it in diet, exercise, or both every 4 - 6 weeks or so.
Good luck!

Hey Will! I've Already struggled through what I think were two small plateu's. I had to change my exercise. Some peole say to change up your diet but I feel I'm doing well with that and don't want to mess it up. I was doing pretty much the same cardio machines at the gym so I made the intensity random on my favorite machines and shortened those work outs so I could add at least a few minutes of another kind of cardio machine. Also (I know you have a hurt muscle) I am trying to includes some kind of weight's even if it's just a few minutes a week. These things seemed to get me through it so this long story was to say maybe you should just change up your type of exercise or the intensity. Anything to jar your system out of it's comfort zone.
