Happy hump day everyone! We still have the rest of week to make positive changes.
Magic is believing in yourself. If you can do that, you can make anything happen.
~~ Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
Im really a Calorie King veteran, I used it about 10 years ago in combination with a trainer and had great success losing over 50lbs and 36 and ¾ inches
yes, I lost 3 feet! Shortly after I suffered an illness requiring steroid treatment (among other things), it took me 8 months to recover. I gained a lot of weight back and then threw myself the BIGGEST pity party Ive ever seen
sad to say but it lasted 6years.
I came across a full body length picture of me from when I had lost the weight all those years ago; I looked healthy, toned, happy and confident. I printed it on letter size paper and taped it on the inside of my cabinet door where I keep the coffee mugs so I would see it every day as a reminder. Its been there for about 4 years. A few months ago, I was feeling down on myself and it struck a cord with me
how confident I looked, I remember how good I felt and I now use it as my inspiration. Every morning I say Hello you, Ill see you soon.
So I guess you could say Im inspiring myself to be the best me I can be. I dont have the confidence like I did back then and honestly Im about 10 years older so its taking more discipline with my diet (diet is 80% of it my friends) and exercise to drop even one pound but fact is
I know I can and I know what I can be because I say hello to her every morning.
I dropped 8 lbs before and 2 lbs since starting back at Calorie King and yes I have many more to go, but I feel stronger, healthier and more determined than ever because I BELIEVE in myself and I CAN make anything happen if I put in the effort. I carry such a positive energy now and its really only been a few weeks of accomplishing mini goals (2lbs at a time) to start bringing my confidence back.
A negative Mind will never give you a positive life.
