Happy Monday every one! The weekends seem to go by too fast anymore. Today was weigh-in day at CK and I lost another pound…so happy! :clap: I know I’m losing slower considering I’m training, I think I’m just replacing fat with muscle, I see a difference in the mirror and in my clothes. Inches not pounds matter to me, so I’m thrilled!!!

I had my grandson DJ yesterday and couldn’t go to the gym, so I took him for a walk in the jogging stroller instead. How many calories does a 43 year old grandmother burn an hour, when walking & pushing a 20lb baby in a 30lb stroller while swatting pine flies, mosquitoes and gnats away you ask? Amazingly, I burned 505 calories. I was shocked! I know walking is good and there is added weight from him and the stroller but WOW I thought it would be more like 200-300. And then this morning I was down a pound.

I was feeling so guilty about not making it to the gym this weekend because I was babysitting and then had a function immediately afterward on Saturday and yesterday I had DJ past closing…but after seeing what I burned, I felt like accomplished something. :thumbu2:

To anyone who doesn’t have time to go to the gym, doesn’t like the gym or can’t afford the gym…grab your kids, significant other, friends, dogs or self and get up and go for a walk! Even if you only go around the block, it’s still moving.
