View THEFATCHICK's food & exercise for this day

So much for getting out of the office on time yesterday, I couldn’t leave until 7:45pm and was NOT prepared with enough food to have stayed this late…so I kept drinking water in hopes of warding off hunger pains.:sad3: I haven’t stayed that late in a few weeks and honestly, I don’t know how or why I used to…I couldn’t wait to get out last night. I was so hungry and contemplating what I was going to eat for dinner in terms of my caloric needs.:angel4: On the way home I stopped at the market for a rotisserie chicken, fresh broccoli, sweet potatoes, a few miscellaneous items and then home to fix it all up. It hit the spot but unfortunately it was now 9:30pm, I hate eating this late, I always feel heavy and sluggish afterward.

This morning I woke up early to prepare (weigh, measure, portion and log) my food for the day, still tired and sluggish from my late night meal. I weighed in this morning and was surprised; I’m back down, now at 215.1 lbs…2 more ounces and I will be in the 214’s…YAY ME!!! :teeth1::y::y::y:I felt great and it gave me a burst of energy! The timing is perfect, tonight is my weigh-in with Elle, so knowing I was down really helps my mindset.
I’m trying something different today; I eat 100 more calories on training days, so instead of struggling tonight to eat my allocated calories for dinner and THEN my calories burned during training (or at least back up to 1200), I am power eating all day long. This will leave me a buffer of only 250 calories remaining for dinner which I can easily kill with a whole grain pasta, veggies and sauce after training. Additionally, if I cut back my pre-training time on the stationary bike from 30 to 10 minutes I’ll save 200+ calories there, then with training I should only have to eat back 200-300 calories…8oz whole milk, yoga bread and an apple should do the trick. We’ll see how well this works out but it’s new, so I’ll have to just live and learn. :afraid2::afraid2:

So excited for tonight, I can’t wait to see what my measurements will be, how they changed and so happy to be strong enough to start TRX…awesome!:thumbu2::thumbu2::thumbu2:

My inspiration for the day…

“Love life, engage in it, give it all you’ve got. Love it with passion, because life truly does give back, many times over, what you put into it.” ~ ~ Maya Angelou

Happy Tuesday!
