Monday, Jun 30 2014 - The results are in...

View THEFATCHICK's food & exercise for this day

The results are in and folks....we have a uterus and cervix! Doctor "S" walks in and tells me...like I didn't already know this... I was like I told you that and you said I didn't and that's why you ordered the test. Ugh!!! Doctors!!!

I told her the bone density test is Wednesday and she says "I'm sure you have bone loss it's just a matter of if you have osteoporosis or not" and that "I will probably need to go on medication to prevent further loss". Okay but don't you think waiting until the results came back would have best??? Also, nurse cratchet told me my blood pressure was borderline high. My blood pressure has always been very low, extremely low in fact, I think it's just this doctor. I will need to get a second opinion about the blood pressure and she suggested I follow up with my primary or an orthopedic doctor. I'm waiting until all results come in and then I'll decide what to do.

So into more positive things...tomorrow is Elle and TRX!!!:thumbu2::thumbu2::thumbu2:

Wednesday is the bone density test and Chiro, then Elle & TRX again on Thursday.

Friday is July 4th and a friend invited us to watch the fireworks from a museum lighthouse tower...it will be pretty seeing the fireworks and the reflection on the water. I may be taking Thursday off, I have a lot at home I want to get done because both my husband and I are off Friday so we have a hot date!:eyebrows::thumbu2: Just the two of us and the Valkyrie (motorcycle). I haven't been on the bike since the week before mom had the stroke on 7/13/13 and it's long overdue. :rock1::frog:

I'm so excited to spend some time with my husband, all day on the bike then the fireworks at night, it will be great!

No quote today... Just feeling happy and excited about TRX and spending time with my husband on Friday:)

Okay, so, I never, ever spew forth advice without being asked (opinions, perhaps, but never advice), but I really, really don't like the vibe I'm getting from Dr. S. If you have a regular PCP that you like and trust, use that doc for everything you can, and find another OB/Gyn. Because she can't find easy-to-spot body parts, you're out money for the ultrasound. And don't get me started on ordering a test and not waiting for results before wanting to write a scrip.

Enough of that. I hope you have a terrific time with your husband on Friday.
