Good Morning. Im feeling much better today. THANK YOU to all for your concern yesterday.

I was definitely having a reaction to the Linzess medication.

I talked to the doctor, I was taking the highest dose, so tomorrow she wants me to pick up samples of the lowest dose and try it over the weekend (when someone is home with me) and call the office Monday to report back. I understand what the medicine does and why it could help me so I will try it. I already know what the side effects are, how I felt and what to look for so I guess Im one step ahead of the game.
After I got home I took a little nap and then kept my Chiro appointment with Dr.Ted yesterday because my back was killing me. I knew I needed treatment, I had thrown it out Saturday dragging my old school Dyson Animal Vacuum (beast) up a 169 year old set of steep steps.

Dr. Ted saw something was off, asked if I was OK, I explained what was happening and then he explained that the area of my back giving me issues could be responsible for the other issues I was having that got me doing the Magnesium Citrate cleanse in the first place. Seriously!!! So he will incorporate treatment for the vertebrae just below my problem area because that is where the nerves go out to the bladder, colon and other areas. This all makes sense to me, especially with the book Ive been reading from National Geographic about understanding how the body works.
It was freaking scary yesterday but I came out OK in the end, I just kept drinking water and rested more after the Chiro. Today I feel really good, energized, clear headed and strong. Just in time too, because I have training with Elle tonight. This is our only training this week, I cancelled Tuesday due to the magnesium citrate issue
I will get homework tonight, Im sure. BRING IT ON!

Sometimes we are so distracted by the messiness of life that our vision is narrowed. No matter if its work, family, friends, or our own health, we dont see things for what they are
Temporary. Everyday we are given a new opportunity to change it; its up to us if we take it. So Im going to try everyday to make positive changes, keep a positive attitude and do my best not to succumb to the messiness.
The quote below prompted the thought above
There is a hard truth to be told: before spring becomes beautiful, it is plug ugly, nothing but mud and muck. I have walked in the early spring through fields that will suck your boots off, a world so wet and woeful it will make you yearn for the return of ice. But in that muddy mess, the conditions for rebirth are being created. ~ Parker Palmer
Have a great Thursday everyone!

Great quote. The messy muck has sucked my boots many times! Again so sorry you had to go through that with the drug. And your story resonated with me because I have back issues which have affected my tailbone. I guess all the bits are interconnected, huh? Anyway, you are ahead of the learning curve now that you know what side effects to watch for. Still scary. Glad to hear you're on a lower dose. Sounds like a powerful drug. Thinking of you. Cheryl55

Not super crazy about leaving the fan on as I often wake up with a scratchy throat. That said, I'm tired of feeding the flying menagerie too. It's certainly warm enough here now to leave a fan on.

So glad you are feeling better, that is such a scary feeling.
Be careful in training tonight, I am sure the medication will take a few days to flush out.
