Good morning. Well, I was right...the 4 1/2 lb weightloss from the cleanse was temporary, up another pound again today. :sad3: I figured it would happen but 207 felt SO GOOD! I was supposed to pick up the lower dose medicine last night but I got hung up in the tourist traffic and the office closed 5 minutes early, maybe their clock is 5 mins fast...mine is set to Navy Seal time because that's how my boss wants our network time synched.
I must be absorbing a lot of the food because I've eaten full meals, 1400 calories worth daily wed-yesterday, I'm "holding" onto the food and I'm only up 2 lbs. I will get the medicine Monday. :sad3:

This just makes me more determined to get there, nothing like a little glimpse of what could be to motivate one to pursue the chase with more determination and focus.

Getting the grand baby in 30 minutes, love that little man! So hard to believe he's going to be 9 months next week! It went by so fast, too fast! He is so smart and I know everyone says that but he is a watcher, he watches and studies then tries to imitate actions, facial expressions and movements of the mouth (when we are talking he tries to move his mouth like ours). He is bright, happy and brings me so much joy...without him I think this past year, loosing my mom would have been unbearable. He makes us smile, made us not dwell because we couldn't, we had this baby who needed us. He is just an amazing blessing. My daughter's fiancé had testicular cancer at 15 and was told he would never be able to father children...the baby is turkey a miracle and he is the spitting image if daddy too! :heart2:

I'm feeling very blessed today, for my family, my CK family, my health, my choice for this lifestyle change, and for this day.

Well, I better get moving my daughter D will be dropping him off soon.

So i had a thought I mostly eat chicken and some fish..I've been getting 30-35g of fat 3-4 days a week, the other 2-3 are between 30-55g...I know this sounds crazy but I'm going to try to eat more FAT!

This morning I had 2 sunny side up eggs, 3 strips of Oscar Meyer ready cooked bacon, a slice if The Bakers cinnamon raisin whole grain bread with a serving of land O lakes butter with canola oil and two cups of coffee, each with 2TBSP if half and half. Of course I will count the calories. Planning on a salad for lunch with full fat oil and vinegar dressing then salmon, baked sweet potato and roasted asparagus for dinner. I'm sure my sodium will be higher than I like but I somehow feel this is necessary.
I hate meat with fat on it, nothing more gross than biting into a chunk if fat! My stomach doesn't tolerate beef at all and I only like pork once in a while. I dislike the oily taste of dark meat chicken, that's why I only eat the breast.

I figure I'm gaining back a pound a day so why not see if this works...Fingers (and toes) crossed :smile1:
