Good morning my fellow CK'ers! Its raining here and you can here thunder in the distance.
That just remnded me...when I was a little girl my parents (avid bowlers) used to say it was the angels bowling and the rain was them crying. I miss them both. It's so quiet, I'm the only one up, for now, the grand baby is coming again today...I love having him being able to help my daughter out. Yesterday I took him to the bay, we only went in a inches above my ankles but it was plenty. His cousin and her son from my EX's side were with us, they took pictures for me to send to my daughter...it was his first time in the bay. He kept trying to walk out further, the water was too dark and I dont do baithing suits so I had no intention of going past my knees regardless. We also used the toddler swing at the attached park, he liked it. Unfortunately we were only there for about 45 minutes when sun showers started, then suddenly the sky turned gray, just as we got in the car, the sky opened and the rain poured down. After we got back to my house I cleaned him up and we took nap on the couch together...it was nice.
Yesterday morning before he got here, I did something to my knee, it got progressively worse throughout the day, so swollen by last night, I iced, wrapped it and selp with a knee brace on. Its still a bit sore this morning, I hope its better by tuesday for training with Elle...Needles to say I didn't go to the gym yesterday.
Weighed in at 207 lbs 2oz this am...definitely moving in the right direction!

P.s. I just had to add that I am so grateful for this baby, now 9 months, he came 3 months before my mom passed, during a time when I was being torn apart watching helplessly as she suffered; this little baby got me through the darkest time, keeping me grounded, preventing me from completely falling apart. I was there for his birth, he was there for me when Mom passed and I vow to always carry this little man who's mere presence brightens my world and overflows my heart with love. This morning he just wanted to be close to me, lay on me, hist little hand wrapped around my finger, he sang until he fell asleep. Its moments like these that life is really about.

May we all reach our goals today and set new ones tomorrow
Enjoy your Sunday!

Ah ha. A Jersey girl! I like how you structure your menus with caloric vetted items and then play with your meal on the weekend. Very practical. I may try that! Thanks for your post. That was exactly what I was hoping to get from everyone is best practice habits so that I can arm myself.

Lovely! What a perfect day you had yesterday. Trying to figure which bay, if you've ever mentioned which coast you're on. I'm thinking east somehow... Anyway, what a beautiful story about what your grandson means to you and what you intend to be for him in the future. Made me sort of teary! Congrats about the ozs down. That's the way to do it!
