Good morning and happy Sunday! Im sitting downstairs enjoyng the quiet, listening to the cars swoosh by, there seems to be more of steady stream of them today. Its just me and the cats down here, the hubby is still sleeping. The gran baby is coming in about 45 minutes, he was a handful yesterday. He did behave perfectly well in the stores though, just not so much at home. I hope today is better.

I took him to Babies R Us yesterday, I wanted to get a few more things for my nephew and his finance's baby, im mailing the package Tuesday. I ended up buying a car seat for my grandson, my daughter and her fiancé have been sharing one car seat because they are trying to pay off bills. So I had a coupon and figured I would help them out. I bought tge same one I have, it holds up to 110 lbs, was made (not just assembled) in the USA, has been tested beyond the minimum requirements, has sure lock latch system, automatically adjusting harness so they dont have to take it out to adjust the straps as he grows and has smart technology fabric that will evenly distribute body heat. Its a little on the high end side but I love mine and he seems to enjoy riding in it. The kids were very appreciative, it will make things a little easier for them and I was happy to help...made me feel good. The baby was was so good, singing abd babbling to the other babies...reminded me of Mikey in the movie Look Who's Talking when they're out for a walk and the kids are are talking. LOL

We are going to try to go to the park today or at least get some outdoor exercise, the fresh air is good for us both. My husband is going to a charity poker game, he and his friends have them once a month, the winnings go to local charities, this time I think its the local fire department, last month tgey raised $250, not bad.
