Good Morning and Happy Friday! I went to the GI Doctor yesterday, although the last x-ray looked good, I'm having the colonoscopy on November 11th to see if there is anything inside causing my issues. Hey at least I'll know and have a starting point for my 50's right. The preparation has changed since my husband had his, now you have to split the miralax juice and do 1/2 of it 5 hours before the test which means I'm getting up at 4:30 am to drink this stuff...if that's what it takes so be it! I can gradually reintroduce solids and fiber back into my diet and resume normal eating on Monday YAY!!! I brought an apple today, I'm so happy you have no idea! =D:teeth2::clap::rock1: I have the Chiropractor appointment tonight and get the results from the MRI of my spine, hoping for good news.

I had training last night and struggled a bit I did good at first, blowing through the first circuit with great form and control but in the second circuit I couldn't do the leg press at all, it was killing my knees, I'm talking real pain, I though I was going to hurt myself it was that kind of pain. Elle and I think its because she had me do step ups and the weighted ball toss (I squatted to throw the ball to her) at the end of the first circuit because I seem to have similar issues if I do assisted squats at the smith machine before doing the leg press. So on the tail end of the second circuit we cut the step ups and changed the weighted ball toss to more of a step forward or slight lunge (not a full or traditional lunge) and then added more abs in place of the step up. Usually we do my step ups on the BOSU which is more forgiving because it cushions the step but someone had removed it from the training room so we used the aerobic steps instead. So she had me do more ab work to finish out.

My weight is up a 1/2 lb, according to my scale its all water and I'm actually down fat; its probably due to the sodium in the soup I had for lunch yesterday. No biggie...we'll see what tomorrow brings. I feel good, strong and unstoppable...that's whats important. :y::y::y:

Looking forward to spending time quality time with my niece\goddaughter tomorrow afternoon, and of course my precious grandson in the morning. I saw him yesterday afternoon, they were outside playing and as I started to pull away he began to cry, crawl towards me and put his hand out reaching for me. OMG I had to stop and go to him, hes never done that before:love::love::love: Once they got him occupied I left. Don't think I'm a big softie cause although he melts me, I'm still strict and don't believe in coddling, its just hes been going through some separation anxiety lately (since my daughter went back to work full time and has kept the part time job) and I had a few minutes to spare so rather than leaving him feeling abandoned I chose to get him occupied and then leave just 5 minutes later. He felt good, I felt good, we all felt better about it. My daughter is hoping to be able to let the part time job go by January, she thinks she should be caught up by then.

Okay, that's about it for me today, except for maybe a quote:

"There's a difference between interest and commitment. When you're interested in doing something, you do it only when conditions permit. When you're committed to something you accept no excuses, only results." ~ Unknown

Have a great day! :wave1:

Thank you so much for your comment on my blog today. You are a wise woman! Great advice. I like the idea of empowering her because I truly don't want her to feel guilty about her habits. I'm just not a big believer in guilt/shame/judgment. So thanks again! Also I'm keeping my fingers (and toes) crossed for good news from your chiro! Finally, what sort of scales do you have that can tell you when you're up in water? Very cool.
