It's 6:30am, it's actually quiet even thought I have two dogs and 3 cats in the house right now. I Can't sleep, too much on my mind so I'm doing laundry. The hubs and I are going on a motorcycle run today with about 10 others, first to LBI (long beach island) for breakfast then to the chowder fest and then out for a ride... It will be nice. Yesterday we went to the newly opened tractir supply store a few towns over to look at boots, I ended up buying a pair of cowgirl boots. I never thought I would say this but I liked it, it reminded me of when I was young and had my horses...it felt like home. Not sure what came over me, I guess I was caught up in the nostalgia but I bought cowgirl boots and they make me think of the lesson Mom and Dad taught me if you are willing to work for it your dreams can come true... I worked hard and bought my horses and paid their board and keep on my own at 15 years old. So the boots are a little symbolic of that life lesson and they will keep me warm today.

Tuesday is the hubs birthday and we went to dinner last night at Friday's, normally I struggle there but I didn't care, I didn't even anguish over calories or dissect the portion size visually. I know damn well there were two portions on thy plate and rather than ask for a to go container and seperately then I ate it, almost all of it. I'm seeing old habits starting to surface, I need to get my head back in the game. I knew we were going out to eat so I ate light all day but still I should have brought half home. I see things and I acknowkege them yet I still do the behavior, granted its small things every so often but it can became dangerous to my progress. I must remember that life keason Mom and Dad taught me cause only hard work will make this happen for me, laziness and shortcuts will only get in my way.

Well gotta get going, laundry needs to be switched over and i have to get ready to rock my boots. Oh and let me just add I have a little extra pep in my step because I can actually fit me and long underwear into my jeans at the same time, it's been a long time.
