View THEFATCHICK's food & exercise for this day

I carefully tracked all calories yesterday and saw how easy it is to over eat when on the steroids to treat bronchitis and pnemonia. My plan was to use healthy low cal foods like fruit and water to keep the hungries at bay but honestly they don't work that well. I don't know why the steroids make you so hungry all the time. I ened up going to bed hungry because I refused to go over my calories especially since I can't workout.

I'm feeling a little better this morning, my daughter said the grand baby is feeling better too. It's just nice to breathe without a coughing fit following. I'm still a bit tired, my house is 200 yrs old and crickets are finding shelter from the cold.., ok one really loud one that kept me up half the night. I'm glad though I'm feeling better because I have a meeting at work today with vendor who is flying in so its good the cough is gone.

The bad situation hasn't changed that much, I think the Prozac is really helping me deal with it but I dont want to be on medication so I'm going to look into counseling instead, maybe talking to someone will release the anxiety and allow me to function at work without the medication. I don't like taking medicine but I also recognize my limitations and saw that if I didn't get it together I would end up loosing my job because the anxiety was so overwhelming I just wasn't my self, I was a complete mess. I will be making phone calls this week.

Well it's time to go get ready for work, have a good day.

coughing suck so bad. Glad you are feeling better.

I love old houses. I rented a 100 year old house a long time ago, it was so great but man was it cold and drafty.

Hope you feel better soon. I'd maybe try some higher protein foods to help keep you full longer. Maybe some cheese or (measured) nuts. Cashews really help me out sometimes. Hope you feel better soon. The last time I was on steroids I had the weird reaction that I didn't want to eat at all, which is very odd for me. :laugh5:

I had someone tell me recently that anti-depressants are just another tool in the tool shed. I am back on Wellbutrin after going off of it because I don't like being on too many medications. I take it mainly for stress because PCOS tends to magnify everything. Anyway, the nutritionist told me that it's just really another tool to help as long as it isn't being abused or relied on too much. I'm not sure what your bad situation was but I'm sure that the medicine plus counseling will help you resolve your issue and hopefully you won't need that tool much longer.
