Can I just say how thankful I am for my trainer Elle!!!! Last night she challenged me, pushed me out of my comfort zone and empowered me again...today I feel stronger and yes sore. I am so grateful to have such an amazing trainer in my corner, guiding me through the fitness part of my journey.
This morning I put on clothes that I wore hurt last week and they are swimming on me, yet my weight hasn't changed more than a pound but my body has. I also have to go shopping for a new winter coat, my coat from last year that used to sit at my waist is now below my butt and so big I look like a high school girl wearing her boyfriends jacket...except I'm older so it just looks bad.
Tonight I have training again and I'm so sore today, I can hardly lift my arms. i realize that while most people my age can do so much more weight wise, I have come so far and am thankful for what I can move. With my knee, back and shoulder issues I think I'm doing pretty good. I'm challenged and that's all that matters right. I am becoming the best "healthy me" I can be and that's realy what it's all about, competing with ourselves to be better than we were yesterday.
Stay strong and keep trying...we can do it!

Trainers are great for beating us up (in a healthy way). I'm glad you have one whom you like and trust and who also pushes you hard. I can tell it makes you feel good about yourself and your efforts, and that's what it should do.
