Things are starting to look up but there is still a long road ahead and we have a house guest. Last night was nice catching up and I look forward to spending more time together.

Tonight is Christmas shopping with the hubby to hopefully finish up...but the reality is I'm never done. This is my favorite time of year...I love to shop for the perfect gift for someone, a lot of thiught is out I to each gift and then I dress them with wrapping paper and wired ribbon that suits the personality of each recipient. To me, this makes the tiniest gift that much more special and hopefully the recipients see how special they are to me. I don't typically do this for the kids though cause kets face it, they are more interested in what's under the paper and aren't mature enough to appreciate the thought and time that goes into the special wrap. Teenagers mostly like money so a card with money is usually the most appreciated and completely understandable. I am a giver so I love when I'm allowed to Let loose my giving spirit...it fills my heart with joy.
