View THEFATCHICK's food & exercise for this day
Good morning! I made scallop scampi for dinner last night, reducing the fat and clories by using only 1 tbs of butter, garlic (and the garlic juice) with pulp free Orange juice, yielding 6 servings. Scallops are surprisingly low in both calories and sodium; I also made a garden salad with a vinaigrette dressing and 5 crunchy croutons. It was delicious and I didn't feel like I was missing a thing. My husband didn't even notice it was "modified", he had two helpings...so that makes it husband approved. My husband has trouble keeping wait on so two helpings for him is metabolized like half of one for me.
I nervously weighed in this morning expecting to see the some gain on the scale as I usually do after eating any seafood but I was pleasantly surprised to find that it had actually stayed the same. Thank goodness, I have a weigh-in/measurements with Elle on Tuesday and I'm trying to be good and hoping for inches lost. This afternoon I'm going shopping for an outfit for the baptism, just something simple, that fits appropriately and of course is proper for church. I really need blouses, shirts; maybe I'll get a few cami's and cardigans too, I can wear them all year round.
Work gave me an iPhone 6 about 2 weeks ago but I haven't switched over yet because I'm trying to get all 2200 photos and videos of the Grandbaby copied first. I know, I know..iTunes but I don't use iTunes for my phone and hVe no interest in doing so. I was the pictures on a flash drive. I'm not a big apple fan but my employer uses iPhones for employee cell phones. I guess I should just shut up and be grateful I no longer have a cell phone bill.
I just need to ensure all the Grandbabies pictures are safe. I would be heartbroken if I lost them, there are so many I haven't been able to backup the phone since thanksgiving so I would be very sad.
Well it's time to get moving, lots of other things need tending to today.
Have a great day!

You need dropbox. It is a free app that basically gives you cloud storage - you can upgrade to the paid version for more.
So I have dropbox on my phone and dropbox on my pc and then there is of course the web version of dropbox. So any camera pictures I take automatically upload to dropbox. I then can open the same folder on my PC and copy it over to another folder.
I clean up the dropbox folder often so I don't run out of space and so I don't find myself one day sorting through 2200 pictures deciding which ones to keep.
You can use this same logic in reverse. If there is a document I want to take with me or have a copy with me (like my auto insurance ID). I copy it from my PC to dropbox and then can open it up on my phone when I am out and about.
