View THEFATCHICK's food & exercise for this day
Good morning! I Went to see my brother last night, due to a vehicle fire on rt 18 it took me over two hours to get there and I ended up staying the night. My 4 month old great great nephew was there and I eneded up taking care of him so his daddy could cut loose a little and mommy had to get up early for work. I enjoyed him so much, made me miss my grandson all the more. He is such a good baby, he woke up at 3 am wet and hungry but only cried a little. He laughs, smiles, cops and does raspberries...he melts me.
I stopped at WAWA to get a salad and yogurt for dinner last night, it was Kale, almonds, chicken, apples, endamame with a blue berry vinegegrette...it was pretty good but took forever to eat because of how dry it was. I was able to really control my calories by bringing my own, they all had pepperoni pizza, chips, dip and soda or alcohol...I had salad, yogurt and water. I felt good about my choices.
I won't weigh until tomorrow because I want to use y own scale but I think i should be down a few ounces since I've been eating clean. My scale is only 4oz less than y doctor's scale, so that's what I go by. My family is up and moving, I'm in the basement/den trying to relax and maybe go back to sleep for a few since I stuck but they are very heavy footed. Okay, now they're coing down so I guess it's time to get up for good.
Here's a positive quote for today..,
"Limits begin where vision ends. You have to see yourself as a no-limits person. For years, breaking the four-minute mile was thought to be physically impossible. Then in 1954 Roger Bannister ran the mile in 3:59.4. Over the next two years, fifty other runners broke the barrier. Why? They had an image. In Bannister they had a model for success"

Hope you lost some! Always feels good (even loss of ounces). That's moving the needle in the right direction
