Happy hump day! I want to start this post with something positive, I had training last night, it was like a switch was turned on! I was on fire, all the bikes were taken so I used the elliptical then Elle worked me hard. I'm now up to 135lbs on the leg press, 135lbs on the adductor and 130lbs on the abductor, pliƩ squats and regular squats with 16 lbs weights and 10 lbs on tricep kickbacks and hammer curls. I held the plank for an entire minute (for the first time) and make it through the rest of the ab work, leaving me laying on the mat, sweat soaked and thankful it was over but proud that I made it through. I burned 900 calories and after my shower the pain set in but it felt good because I knew it meant progress. I can actually see a little definition in my upper abs, not a lot but a peak-a-boo of muscle. :)

Training was one of the positives today, in a day filled with crap! I needed training, much going on, at work and in my personal life. I have to remember that expectations are just mine alone and often result in disappointment. I'm not trying to be negative, quite the opposite actually, I can't control others, only myself so expectations of others will only result in disappointment but expectations of myself will only result in personal growth.

I have a feeling there are some hard heartbreaking decisions on the horizon but hopefully the those involved realize what's at stake and makes the appropriate choices. I guess I will cross that bridge when I come to it and try my best to be hopeful and positive in the meantime. I believe...I believe...I believe.
