Happy Friday! Im going to get a little deep for a Friday but I have to share this thought
I am very fortunate to have positive people and people of strong faith, all faiths in my life who pray for the people I hold in my heart. Somehow these prayers, especially the ones from a person who is spiritually connected and intone not only with GOD but with nature and her surroundings seem to work like magic (no she is not a witch...LOL...she loves and respects ALL of GODs creations).
Now, this is the important part. Although the issues do not magically disappear as if they never existed because then the lesson would also disappear; they do always somehow result in a better outcome for which ever one of us she is sending prayers and positive thoughts out for
allowing us to still receive the lesson needed to grow but without suffering the full carnage that we otherwise would. The latest instance was something so daunting we were not sure a positive outcome was possible and yesterday she said to me Im sending up prayers and positivity for your loved one and this morning I received a call from my loved one telling me how surprised they were that certain things may not happen as originally thought. That other people somehow became involved, presenting other options, and if they actually materialize would be an amazing turn of events with a huge positive outcome provided they take advantage of the opportunity (make the choice).
In between the time I received this phone call, I received an email from this friend with a positive quote she thought I would like, given the situation I was worrying about and it read
The Compound effect is the principal of reaping huge rewards from a series of small, smart choices. Whats most interesting about this process to me is that, even though the results are massive, the steps, in the moment, dont feel significant. Whether youre using this strategy for improving your health, relationships, finances, or anything else for that matter, the changes are so subtle, theyre almost imperceptible. These small changes offer little or no immediate result, no big win, no obvious I-told-you-so payoff. So why bother?
Most people get tripped up by the simplicity of the Compound Effect
What they dont realize is that these small, seemingly insignificant steps completed consistently over time will create a radical difference. ~~ Darren Hardy
Funny how faith always seems to reward us and give us what we need, when we need it most, even though it may be something we didnt even know we needed.
This is so true for me, all those struggles along the way, not quitting, hanging in there, and doing the best I could at the time
those little things turned into big things for me.
Thank you to everyone who keeps me and my loved ones in positive prayers, regardless of the spiritual or religious beliefs. It the gift from one human to another that is the most selfless and giving I can think of.
