View THEFATCHICK's food & exercise for this day

I went last night with my youngest to see American Sniper, it was captivating and in my 44 years, I've never been to a movie where the entire theater was silent when the movie ended. I was the last one in the theater and just observed everyone silently taking it all in. My father served in the US Army in WWll (yes WWll) and he would never talk to us about it, he worked nights because he had nightmares about it even after I was born ( when he was 45 years old). This movie gave me an insight to his struggle and experience and an understanding of why he never wanted to discuss it.

All I can say is...to all the service men and women THANK YOU for what you do to protect our country, our freedom and to all their families, THANK YOU for sharing your loved ones with our country and for all that you endure so they can do what they do.

Sincerely and with the upmost Gratitude
