Good morning! I’m so thankful its Friday! I HAVE to go shopping tonight, I have absolutely no Capri pants that fit and I've been putting this off but its time. Today is denim day for charity at work (pay $5 to wear jeans) and I because I have no summer type bottoms that fit I rolled up by skinny jeans, paired them with a cute top, flats and accessorized to make the outfit chic enough for Corporate.

It’s so muggy today but yet it’s only expected to be 72, but the humidity is 94%...YUCK! Monday night is my Aunt’s viewing and Tuesday is the funeral; both days are going to be hot and humid 86 and 87 degrees with 40% chance of rain. I do know I will be wearing my hair up because curls, humidity and rain makes for a frizzy fat chick…I need clothing that are occasion and weather appropriate.

I know it will be hard going to the services and funeral but I need to go. My sisters are struggling to deal with my Aunts passing, saying it’s just too soon. Neither of them…okay, none of us have really dealt with loosing Mom yet…but I think I’ve accepted she’s gone they are just acting like she is on vacation somewhere.

With life come death and with death somehow a new life always enters to ease the pain…thus my beautiful new great-niece Allison Ann born this morning. Her arrival brings me to 11 nieces/nephews, 12 great-nieces/nephews and 1 great-great nephew and of course my beautiful Grandson…holy babies! I’m very fortunate to have such a large family, it makes me even more determined to continue a healthy lifestyle to ensure I’m around longer to enjoy them.

I went to training last night trying to use it as a distraction from the past few days but I was so sore from the day before I didn't do as well as I had hoped but Elle was pleased so I guess that’s good. Next week is my weigh-in and I’m dreading it because I’m back up to 179.5 and I feel so much stronger but there is no way I put on 9 pounds of muscle in one month…I would have to be in the gym daily like a body builder to do that. So I am logging my food again and trying to pick up at least one more day of activity be it the gym or a 6 mile walk with the grand puppies…it has to be something, some movement.

Yesterday she had me do (what I call) football squats; alternate squats while placing the palm of your hand on the floor, coming all the way up before switching sides and arms…its great cardio too…I can do this at home on commercial breaks while watching TV or anytime I feel like it to burn some calories.
