View THEFATCHICK's food & exercise for this day
My first post since August and I'm maintaining...we'll sort of...I hitched a ride on a 10 lb yo-yo. my life exoded with so many stressful things;
My husband tore his bicep tendon at work so we're jumping through the workers comp hoops.
I was cleared to drive in Oct but didn't dare cause I didn't quite feel like myself until the week before thanksgiving.
Then the first week of Dec my father-in-law suffered a stroke - thankfully he is recovering nicely with some PT. We lived with him for the first 2 weeks and still go daily to make sure all is okay and to do PT on his off days.
I had to take a leave of absence from work to care for him.
My HR dept suggested I talk to the owner about a compensation package and I abruptly said no! So now I'm worries about loosing my job!
My eldest was hospitalized Sunday, she's going to be okay (THANKFULLY)
My grandson is two now and living with us (until my daughter comes home) because his daddy works 14 hrs a day. I adore him and feel so old some hours of the day.
And during all of this I'm enrolled in online classes!
BUT...all this stress and I haven't had any additional seizures AND I'm conscious of my emotional eating habits so I've been trying really hard to eat consciously and I'm maintaining so I guess it's all good right!
I mean it's like the universe is testing me daily to see if I'm going to break or not. Nope, not me, not giving in, I will win. 👍
