Well I'm still going. A couple of injuries tried to get me down but I've managed to get through it without gaining any of my weight back and in the last couple of weeks started losing again. This is all due to keeping my calories under control. It has been huge for me to control my calories enough to not gain any weight back and start losing some recently. Each time I stepped on the scales I feared that I was going to see that number go up but everytime it stayed within range I was even more encouraged to keep eating right. I'm 2lbs from being at my mid-range goal of 250lbs, that's from my starting weight of 333. I've lost an entire person!

I feel that eating better is becoming more of a habit. Last night I was in the drive-thru with a friend that was getting ice cream. She got ice cream and I did not. I had a big lunch and didn't need the extra calories. And the best thing about it was I didn't feel bad about not getting ice cream. I felt GREAT because I didn't need food to make me feel better. As Oprah would say it was an "ah-ha moment"!!!

My activity level is low but I've been given the all clear to start with some moderate workouts. It will be good to get in the gym and have a really intense workout but I'll have to wait a bit longer before that can happen.

I hope everyone is having a great week and has a great holiday weekend planned ahead of them. I'm working in the yard all weekend! Which is my absolute favorite thing to do. My partner and I have been working hard to get the yard looking great. It's starting to pay-off, we've had some rain and sunshine so everything is looking brillant.
