Good lord - another good reality check yesterday - 2800 calories! Granted, 1300 of it was that greasy BK breakfast (lesson learned), but still. I think I'm finally getting it! At least the choices I made for the rest of the day were relatively healthful (tuna steak, rice, etc), but the portions were still way too big. I did stand on the edge at one point and look at my overloaded dinner plate, but instead of packing away the extra for another meal, I packed it in my gut and felt guilty after...Wednesday, June 27th 2007
Okay, I'm glad I've started logging food at long last. It's a great reality check on what I've been up to! I thought yesterday was a relatively moderate day but the calories did creep up. Logging this morning was good too, since I finally took a look at how bad those burger king breakfasts are. No more of those for me!! Gotta pick up some decent breakfast food asap, and will try for better eating for the rest of the day.Tuesday, June 26th 2007
Hi - Today's my first day on calorieking, but it's another step in a LONG journey when it comes to diet and exercise. I've spent the past few months working through approval steps for gastric banding, but have treated the time as one long "last supper" and I'm ready to change this and get serious.
