This morning I hate an egg white omelette...This is the South Beach answer to breakfast.

I hate eggs...the way they taste. The way they smell. Yucky, gross, gross, eww.
It wasn't bad...but it's the whole mental block of it and the texture is just...I don't know. It was actually good. My mind is messing with me and I had to choke it down. I really, really hate eggs. I need to look for an alternative.

So far I have been subsisting on salads. Which isn't a bad things because there are so many different kinds you don't really get tired of it. I am eating things that I haven't eaten since I was a little girl. Things I don't cook because the rest of my family won't touch them with a ten foot pole.

We have a whole separate grocery bill for me....DH doesn't seem to mind..it's not that much and there are a few things my oldest daughter is liking so it's not a total loss. I actually had a steak...it was so good I almost wept.

Dh bought a scale for me. I hate scales and tend to avoid them like the plague. But I have to say, this scale is the bomb. It's the Biggest Looser scale and it measures body fat, muscle mass, bone mass, water weight and tell you calorie intake to maintain that weight. It has a 12 user capacity and a memory for each time you weigh....I like this scale a lot.

At first it wouldn't tell me what my body fat was because it said I was over their limit of 60% body fat for calculation. I wanted to cry...but then I weighed myself without clothes and it worked.

Here's the low-down:

I weighed 242 lbs. Which means I've lost weight....that makes me smile. :)
Body fat: 59.5% What can I expect......no big surprises there.
Muscle: 19.8%
Water: 27.8%
Bone: 10%

This what I am going to do....each week on Fridays I am going to weigh myself. That way I won't be a slave to the scale, I won't be discouraged if there is fluctuation and I have something to look forward too.
