Phase 2 of the South Beach program is the target part of the program...this part will get you to the point where you want to be. It allows more wiggle room to create with your food. Whole grain bread and pasta are allowed in controlled amounts and fruit is now encouraged. It's hard for me to believe some of the things I am eating are even "legal". My calorie intake is on target....until I do my workouts. Last night I had a -11 calorie intake. My target is 1000 cal a day and I really don't want to go above that. I'm in a quandry and not sure what to do about it. At this rate I'm never going to reach my caloric target and progress to the next bronze level. I could increase my calories and cut back on the exercise but I'm really not for that. I don't feel like I am starving... I didn't get to work out until late last night...by the time I was done it was 3 a.m I felt like crap today..then I looked in the mirror this morning and I was still FAT. No wonder I was a miserable wreck. My hair looks like crap, and my favorite sweater is still too tight (although I think it's getting looser, but I can't really tell).Wednesday, February 23rd 2011
I really really like the Yoga and strength training on the Wii Fit Plus. I can tell the difference from just working out on the treadmill. I can also feel the places in my torso and back where the muscles are weak. I was a little sore today. 30 minutes for yoga and 30 minutes of strength training a day makes a huge difference. There are a whole bunch of balance games and aerobics game. It's got a feature that saves routines that you can make up..and also suggests other exercises that you s...« Previous
