This photo was sent to me by a cousin this morning. It made me think of Hansje on the 2009 -1/week challenge thread and so I wanted to show it to her. (It is a picture of a bridge between Sweden and Denmark which becomes a tunnel in the middle so that ships can pass!
I don't know a way to load photos except on my blog entries or at my profile. Can one add photos to PMs? And BTW, is there a way to quickly go to someone's profile or send them a PM except to go to my friends list or click their name on a post or blog?
Now, about my CK journey:
I am learning to eat more reasonably and consciously. I know the part that exercise plays in my journey to better health and appearance. I have made some strides with Calorie King and friends here.
I still haven't climbed back on the Beck wagon though. Oh, dear. I promised myself I'd check the thread today and at least ascertain what page the group is on, but I've yet to do that. However, I did read the last lessons for Silver #3 and so I'm almost through with that level; I only have to double-check the requirements and I believe I've met them all. So hip hip hooray on that score.
I was way over my calorie limit for today. While on an errand, I was trying to bolster my flagging self-image by remembering that I still ate 500-600 calories less than it takes to maintain 200 lbs. How does CK determine that magic number where I can lose weight? Anyway. When I returned home, I realized that I feel really full -- of cherries! It's Rainier time, time when the Rainier cherries are at their peak. Rainier cherries were my dessert tonight and I'd grabbed another handful when I left for my errand. (I know, I'm not supposed to eat in the car but I can't change every bad habit at the same time, can I?) (I know, I'm supposed to try harder to change as many bad habits at a time as I can. Sigh.) Well, there I was feel satiated and more on cherries, when I remembered I'd put half of my dinner hamburger down for my evening snack. Well! if I feel this full I don't have to eat evening snack and I don't want that half hamburger sandwich!
I got onto CK, got to my diary, deleted the half hamburger from my day, and increased the number of cherries consumed. In this process, I found that I had listed the half hamburger pattie AND a whole hamburger pattie for dinner, as well as the evening snack half! Woo-hoo!!! Even though I'd forgotten to list the bread for the sandwich and added that now, I'm still coming in under calories for today. In fact, I need to eat a few more in order to get a green check. (And what's up with that rule? It seems so counter-intuitive.)

Ok - forgot to answer you about the pictures. Going to a person's profile is easy - when you are on their Blog - Under their picture is a link - View Public Profile - IF they have let it be public.
Sending a PM fast - when you are in a person's blog - at the top of that page there is a link - SEND USER A MESSAGE - that opens your send box.
To access people fast - click on their photo, and if you have them saved as a Friend, and their pictures are in YOUR blog - you can click on the picture there and get to their link.
PICTURES - I sent you the long explanation via PM. But you can't post pictures in Forums or PMs as far as I have figured out, just your Blog.
