Thursday, Jun 10 2010 - Why do I love to eat?
View YEWTREE's food & exercise for this day
Eating runs in my family, especially the females. Doesn't that sound hilarious? Like any one of us could stop eating. So the truth is that over-eating runs in my family, and on mother's side that even includes the men. I think this trait shows a lack of wit. If we would think better, faster, we'd be more entertained with other things and forget about eating as play. I've just listed my foods for today, and I'm at a green check at 8:00 p.m. But that yogurt looks so good.
One big problem in the last two days is lack of exercise. Last night was vestry meeting, though I could've done both with better planning. Procrastinating my reading needed by meeting time put a better plan out of the question. (Procrastination, my other bugaboo.) And this afternoon I slept right through both possible sessions.
The other big problem this two days is that Stan brought home a big pepperoni pizza from Sam's Club. Ouch! did you know that one slice of pepperoni pizza is 300 calories? No way I can eat only 1 slice of pizza when a whole pie is in the house! So that was yesterday's lunch and today's as well. I can't blame Stan for bringing home the pizza either; he called home before he bought it and told me he was looking at it. I could've said, "Leave that stinkin' pizza with Sam!" but oh, no, my appetite voice said, "Well, ok, you should buy a pizza." Coward.
You know, I need to adopt a motto, a watchword to keep me in focus. Maybe more than "just do it," I need "Just do it RIGHT!

I like 'Just do it...right!' as a motto. Because if you're looking at a piece of cake and thinking 'Should I eat that?' you definitely don't want your motto to be 'Just do it'!
