View YORKVILLE's food & exercise for this day
I am SO PROUD OF MYSELF...
For the first time in probably over a month... I dragged my butt to the gym. It felt good to go for a run and although challenging, I felt great going home knowing I had also done some weight training.
I went over budget on food calories... again with the WINE... arggghhh
But this morning I took the bottle of white that is in the fridge and dumped the remainder and have promised myself not to open another one until I lose 5 pounds.
I weighed in this morning... also another big accomplishment... I was a little bit higher than I would have liked, but I now have a starting point and it's ALL DOWNHILL from here!

Thanks for the comment Jody!
Wine is totally a habit that I want to break... they say it takes 30 days to change a habit, so I am going on an alcohol break... I am going to a wedding on Sept 8 and I won't drink any booze until then - hoping I can rid my evening wine habit by then!

Yay - you faced the scale - that wasn't so bad, was it?? I TOTALLY hear you on the wine. For the last year I've logged calories on and off. Most days, my food was reasonable. Add in 1, 2 or 3 glasses of wine every night?? Not so much. I actually don't this the calories were bothering my weight so much (my weight didn't budge when I stopped drinking), but I didn't like that I drank because I was bored. So I changed some stuff up, and spend a lot more time being active now... even though I still WANT to have wine pretty often, I decided that I need to practice some other ways to find fulfillment and fun each day and not rely on wine as a time-filler. It's all about balance, right? You are focusing on wellness - that's a good thing!
