  • 1 cup fat-free milk
  • 1 large ripe peach, peeled, pitted and cut into eighths, or 2 canned in-own-juice peach halves, drained
  • 5 - 6 ice cubes
  • 1 - 2 packets artificial sweetener **
  • 1/4 tsp almond extract *


Combine all ingredients in a blender. Blend at high speed until very smooth and foamy, about one minute. Pour into a chilled glass and serve.


* For an alcoholic option, omit some/all of the sweetener and replace the almond extract with 1 ounce of amaretto liqueur.

** Note: If desired, replace artificial sweetener with 1 to 2 tablespoons of unpacked brown sugar.
